The first design of a series of stadiums to be revealed by officials for the 2022 World Cup has unfortunately been dubbed the "vagina stadium".

The design is supposed to resemble the sails of a traditional pearl fishing boat and not a vijayjay! Aecom, the firm that won the contract to design the stadium, said the design was "inspired by the dhow boat that carried generations of local fishermen and pearl divers".

"The stadium weaves together Qatar's past with its progressive vision for the future," a spokesperson for the company said.

The vagina-looking fully air conditioned 40,000-capacity stadium will be completed by 2018. Equal opportunity for women huh?

Treatment for Dormant Malaria Shows Promise

Vivax malaria, shown here in the blood stream, can hide out—undetectable—in liver cells.
CDC,Stealthy foe. Vivax malaria, shown here in the blood stream, can hide out—undetectable—in liver cells.

The first new drug in half a century to target malaria parasites in one of their best hideouts is showing encouraging results. The researchers developing the drug, called tafenoquine, said on thursday that data from a recently completed phase II trial were promising enough that they will soon start a phase III trial—the last step before asking drug regulators for approval.

Tafenoquine kills the malaria parasite when it is lurking in liver cells, in a form called the hypnozoite, or “sleeping parasite.” Hypnozoites don’t cause any symptoms and are impossible to detect with blood tests. But when triggered by signals that aren’t fully understood, they can reactivate to cause a new bout of malaria—which can then be picked up by mosquitoes and passed on to new victims. Five species of Plasmodium can cause malaria in humans. Two of them—Plasmodium vivax, which is widespread, and the relatively rare P. ovale—can form hypnozoites. This ability to hide is one of the things that makes P. vivax so difficult to eliminate from a region.

Now, the only treatment that can cure vivax malaria—hiding parasites and all—is a 14-day course of a drug called primaquine, which was developed in the 1940s. It works fairly well, but it is difficult for people who don’t feel ill to complete the whole 2 weeks. “The compliance with the current regimen is really a problem,” says JP Kleim, director of clinical development for the pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline (GSK). “The acute malaria is gone after a few days [of treatment],” so patients’ motivation to continue taking drugs is low. That’s why GSK decided to develop tafenoquine, together with the Medicines for Malaria Venture, a Geneva-based nonprofit. The partners launched a trial in 2011 to test whether a single dose of tafenoquine could work as well as the 2-week course of primaquine.

The data, presented on thursday at the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C., suggest that a single dose works very well. The trial involved 329 patients in Brazil, India, Thailand, and Peru. In patients who received either a 300 mg or 600 mg dose of the drug, 90% had no relapses after 4 months. The partners will now go forward with a phase III trial, testing the safety and efficacy of the 300 mg dose in 600 patients, says Marcus Lacerda of the Fundação de Medicina Tropical Dr. Heitor Vieira Dourado in Manaus, Brazil, who helped coordinate the study and presented the results at the meeting.

A single-dose drug would be a huge advantage in the fight against vivax malaria, says Ric Price of the Menzies School of Health Research in Darwin, Australia, and the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom. “One of the biggest challenges we face is how can we adequately and reliably treat the hypnozoite stage.”

“And I know that there's more creativity to happen. And I know that there's traditionalists that hold back the good thoughts and there's people in offices that stop the creative people, and [who] are intimidated by actual good ideas.”Kanye West was a guest speaker at the Harvard graduate school of design yesterday.
The 36 year-old recently had a chance to speak with other likeminded individuals a he took a lecture at the Harvard Graduate School of Design before his ‘Yeezus’ show in Boston.

The visit was part of the ‘DONDA Design Lecture Series,’ according to Virgil Abloh, the creative director of Kanye's DONDA brand.
Abloh posted a photo on instagram this past Sunday (Nov 17th) of the rapper speaking to Harvard students, the caption read, “Just gave a talk at Harvard GSD with Kanye. Super surreal. #DONDA design lecture series #yeezustour.”

West made a very passionate speech where he detailed what architecture means to him.
In a video posted on Facebook the ‘Black Skinhead’ rapper said, “I really do believe that the world can be saved through design, and everything needs to actually be ‘architected,’” he told the group of students.”

“And this is the reason why even some of the first DONDA employees were architects that started designing t-shirts instead of buildings. But just to see the work actually be actualised.”

He continued, “If I sit down and talk to Oprah for two hours, the conversation is about realisation, self-realisation, and actually seeing your creativity happen in front of you. So the reason why I turn up so much in interviews is because I've tasted what it means to create and be able to impact, and affect in a positive way. “

In a rare moment Kanye almost seemed nervous as he stated, “Tonight, this show, if you come see it, I'm a bit self-conscious because I'm showing it to architects,” said the usually confident rapper.

Joining the students in attendance was West’s babymama, Kim Kardashian. The reality star also posted a photo on Instagram of her beau lecturing his audience, which had the caption, “My baby speaking at the Harvard Graduate School of Design.”

When asked in an interview with Vanguard about the man in her life & rumours she insured her "oranges", she said

At the moment, I have a lot of people that love me. I’d fall in love. But when I'm dating someone, I hate to make it a public affair. I can’t even take a picture with my man in public. But I can take pictures with my fans. Anybody you see me pose for a shot is my fan. I wouldn’t even agree to share the same table with my man at a function. This, for me, is a way of avoiding people raising eyebrows. Anyway, I will be getting married come next year. A woman get married when she is ready to get married. I will get married next year or I will make a baby next year.

On getting her "oranges" insured

It’s not true. Sometimes, some of these bloggers just cook up stuffs that are not true. But it sounds so interesting, that’s why I didn’t want to confirm whether it’s true or not. Let the story just be. Somebody just cooked it up. I don’t know anything about it. I didn’t tell anybody I’m insuring my "oranges". It’s something that somebody just cooked up somewhere. The story didn’t generate from me neither did it generate from my Twitter handle or Instagram

Actress Yvonne Okoro appears unperturbed about the public backlash she received for the dress she wore to the last African Movie Academy Awards (AMAA), which gave a good view of her séxy cleavage.

The beautiful actress, who is known for wearing dresses or clothes that cover her séxy and vital parts, has disclosed to a closed source that she would not hesitate to wear the same style any day.

She indeed got the whole of Africa talking about her dress for over a week when she popped up at the 2012 edition of the AMAA awards in her black Jovani dress that revealed her tempting cleavage. She amazed people who knew that wasn’t her usual style.

It is almost a year now and media guns are still talking about the dress and wondering if she would repeat it in case she makes it to this year’s AMAA.

Before now, she had hinted that she won’t hesitate to show bóóbs on ‘Fashion 101’ TV show and that she decided to vary her style – the reason for wearing the dress to last year’s AMAA. “Give me another colour and I will rock it,” she added.

Yvonne currently is one of the biggest fashionistas in Africa. She knows when to wear what and get people’s attention

So I heard one of the most successful Nigerian female Singer and my favourite Tiwa Savage is getting married to her fiancé/manager Tee Billz this month and I was extremely happy for her.

So I read in some interviews that her fiancé said that they have a limited invitation cards for their wedding which means he doesn’t want crowd, fans or party crashers at his wedding, and I was like “whatever” that he has pride and what was he feeling like with the believe that Tiwa doesn’t know anything about this and she wouldn’t say such to her fans.

But to my own surprise, few days later I read in another interview where Tiwa also said the same thing “If you’re not invited don’t come to our wedding”, I was really disappointed that she could say such despite the fact that we are the ones buying her records and also it is our money they want to use for this their wedding ooo. These artistes don’t know that without with us (fans) they can’t succeed in this business.

I made up my mind never to buy her records again, for her and her fiancé to say such to their fans who buy their records. So I began to wonder why would they say such, is it that they don’t want to spend, they are being stingy or maybe they want a low key wedding which I don’t think so.

So today I was going through some blogs and I saw a gist that the controversial Kemi Omololu Ololoyun said Tiwa Savage is getting married to a married man with a kid, huh! I was shocked, I couldn’t believe it I had go straight to google and search if the story is true, trust google, google showed me everything patapata and it was confirmed that this her fiancé Tee billz is indeed married with a kid but separated and not yet divorced.

What da f**k! So I realise this is the reason she doesn’t want crowd at her wedding because she’s scared. But seriously Why would she do such? I’m highly disappointed in her, it shows she is very desperate to get married with the fact that it is illegal to get married to a married man who isn’t divorced.

Shame on you Tiwa Savage, is it someone like you that is suppose to say you don’t want crowd and uninvited guests at your wedding? You want to marry somebody else’s husband yet you flew abroad to buy wedding gown and you con dey flaunt am to the world, shame no catch you.

Anyways, I am happy for you but please be wise, let the divorce come first before you enter his house biko, we all know you are not getting any younger but please little patience would do. Getting married to a legally married man is totally wrong, it only shows how desperate you are.

And once again, is it true you caused the rift between Don Jazzy and Wande Coal? Xoxo

t’s no fun for her (and embarrassing for you) when it all ends… too early. We got top sexologists to reveal eight secrets for having longer, better s*x.

1. Study the Kama Sutra. “There is a technique mentioned in the Kama Sutra for delaying ejaculations that basically comes down to training yourself to last longer,” says Harper. She instructs men to start slowly—with no more than one “in/out” stroke every three seconds. “He should then build more strokes slowly over the course of 4 or 5 minutes, until he is moving one stroke per second.” If the man starts to feel like he is going to come, he should stop and “hold himself inside his partner until he feels in control again. Then he begins the whole process again.”
2. Get Out of Your Head. “Performance anxiety is the number one killer of sustaining an erection,” says s*x coach Dr. Patti Britton, a board-certified Clinical Sexologist. “Shift your thinking to a more confident inner voice, as opposed to a worried voice.” Britton explains that a “self-debilitating mindset” is what shuts guys down. “When you begin to feel anxiety, the strategy is to stop, take a breath, and then focus on how things feel in the body. Stay out of your head and get into your body—focus on the feelings that your body is producing for you.”

3. Change things up. The best thing to do if you’re getting close to the edge? Alter your speed, advises human se*uality expert Catherine Toyooka, the founder of Catherine Coaches s*x workshops. “Try teasing her. Take your man-hood out and rub just the head of it sensually up and down and between her labia. Vaginas have lots of nerve endings clustered in the lower portion of their vaginal canal, so this move will still be very enjoyable for her to experience.”
4. Slow down! “Instead of the fast-paced jack-hammering style that many men are so fond of, try taking your time,” says Toyooka. s*x at a slower pace leads to a more connected experience for both people. “It’s more sensual because you are caressing and exploring the rest of her body. Kiss her neck, nuzzle her ear, let your hands gently explore her body,” she says. The most important thing to keep in mind that will help you last longer? Enjoy the journey that leads to your destination.

5. Try a different kind of exercise. Dr. Britton suggests exercising the PC muscles (or pubococcygeus muscle, if we’re being technical). They’re the ones that stretch from the anus to the urinary sphincter. To figure out how to squeeze and contract the PC muscles, try stopping your urine flow while you’re in the middle of peeing. You’ll know it when you try it. Three sets of 15 reps per day should do the trick.  “Daily PC muscle reps help a guy to literally pump himself up. Squeezing those muscles triggers good blood flow to the man-hood, which in turn leads to mental confidence,” she says.

6. Practice the 7 and 9 method. Similar to the Kama Sutra method (mentioned in no. 1, above), Harper recommends her favorite— the 7 and 9 technique. “It’s 7 fast in/out strokes, followed by 9 slow in/out strokes. Then repeat: 7 fast, 9 slow, 7 fast, 9 slow,” she says. “This rhythm is good for guys who don’t last quite as long as their partner needs, and good for the ladies as it establishes a good rhythm for her stimulation too.”
7. Don’t go deep. “If you feel that continued deep thrusting will bring on an all-too-quick climax, try penetrating only the lower portion of her v**ina—in other words, take more shallow thrusts,” says Toyooka. “Also, alternating between shallow and deep thrusts can make you last longer, and will also make the experience a lot more fun!”
8. Squeeze. Britton recommends that men explore the “squeeze technique.” “There are three areas of the man-hood where squeezing or applying pressure can help a man sustain or maintain an erection.” For the first, make a tight ring with the index finger and thumb around the base of the shaft when it is erect, simulating a penile ring. It can help a man keep blood flow to the engorged man-hood. The second: Apply pressure on the underside of the head. “That’s a male hot spot, densely packed with nerves,”  Britton says. And finally, pressing on the “perineum,” or the spot between the anus and the base of the testicles. “It will feel like the tip of the nose. If he presses with his finger, it will congest the flow of release and help quell the early release of the erection.”
